Privacy Policy — Ko'rib Yodla
Last updated: 17 June 2026
Ko'rib Yodla helps Uzbek speakers learn English vocabulary through AI-generated flashcards. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
1. Who we are
Ko'rib Yodla is operated by Abdulboriy Abdurakhmonov. Contact: abdulboriyabdurahmonov593@gmail.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a basic identifier and, depending on your choice, your name and email. Guests provide no account information.
- Words and text you enter. The words, phrases, and translation text you type are sent to our service to generate flashcards and translations.
- Learning data. Saved cards, recent words, daily goal, study time, self-reported English level, streak, and similar activity.
- Device & technical data. Basic information needed to operate the app (app version, general region, error logs). We do not collect your contacts or precise location.
3. How we use your information
- To generate the flashcards, images, and translations you request.
- To save your decks, recents, and progress.
- To send the daily reminders you opt into.
- To operate, secure, debug, and improve the app.
4. Third-party services
- OpenAI — the words/text you enter are sent to OpenAI to generate card content, translations, and images. Don't enter sensitive personal information.
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud — hosting, database, storage, and backend functions, which may run on servers in the United States.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple and, if you subscribe, payment via the App Store.
We do not sell your personal information or use it for third-party advertising.
5. Data retention & deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete it anytime via Settings → Delete account. To request deletion of any server-side data, email us. Generated cards are cached by word (not linked to your identity) so the app stays fast for everyone.
6. Younger users
The app is for general audiences. Anyone under the age of digital consent in their country should use it with a parent or guardian. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children beyond what's described here.
7. Security
We use reputable infrastructure (Apple, Google/Firebase, OpenAI) and reasonable measures, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. International transfers
Service providers may process data outside Uzbekistan, including in the United States.
9. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
